Mario+Angeles: Engagement

I have been anxious to share these photos, because I absolutely adore this couple and had so much fun at their session! Angeles and Mario are in a long-distance relationship and will be getting married early next year (Perhaps the familiar story was tugging at my heart-strings). Angeles is a dancer from South America, and Mario absolutely fell in love with her while he was there working in the peace corps. I was just jittering with excitement when they kept going on about their story- oh so romantic!

Surprise Photoshoot: Family

I joke with Jessica that she has a “frequent flyer” program with Gilded Sun, but I definitely don’t mind! I am seriously considering offering her a job as the Gilded Sun stylist, because I always love how she dresses up the kiddos.

This shoot involved Jessica’s daughter, Madyx, and her nieces and nephews. Since they were babysitting for the night, Jessica and Josh decided to arrange a photoshoot to surprise the kiddos’ parents. This is such an incredibly thoughtful gift, and I hope they appreciate it as much as I enjoyed it!

Jessica+Ned+Chase: Family Pictures

This little family makes me smile. I remember shooting Jessica’s senior portraits, so it’s amazing to see how she really has grown into a young woman (with a beautiful 5 month old!)

We took pictures at Bear Creek Park (carefully evading the geese), and I marveled at what a great team she and Ned are. Dressing, cleaning, and making Chase smile… they worked together to help me capture the perfect pictures!

I absolutely adore this little girl and her one-year birthday outfit! Caitlynn’s mom organized this shoot specifically to get a shot for the birthday invitation, and I just love how her sunny personality shows through the pictures!

Elizabeth: Senior Pictures

I loved this senior session with Elizabeth! She is such a well-rounded girl and just bubbling with the excitement of senior year.

We met at Hermann Park and really took advantage of some of the different scenery. I love how parks can seem metropolitan and natural in the same shoot!
