I had the good fortune to meet Elsa this week! She was in town from Arendelle, and she asked me to take some pictures for her; of course, I was happy to help. :)

This was my first time to visit the Carriage House in Conroe, Texas, and it is such a lovely venue. I am excited to shoot Chelsea and Eric’s wedding there next year! I had a fab time hanging out with these two- the light was perfect, and I am in love with that flowy, coral dress!

Esquire+Jamie+Ellie: Family

I was surprised to learn that Jamie and Esquire had never been to Mercer Arboretum- they live in Spring, and it is so close! I was happy to introduce them to this location; it is very photographer friendly and big enough to feel all alone in it’s little landscaped niches!

Madyx+Beckham: Family

This family obviously has a case of good genes! Madyx continues to grow into a life size doll, and Beckham is an absolutely perfect little boy! Meyer park was an ideal spot for a few quick pictures, and it was a pleasure to catch up with this gorgeous little family.

When Jennifer told me she had a family of 9, with 5 of their kids being adopted, I was immediately anxious to meet all of them! This family has absolutely warmed my heart, and I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with them about the circumstances that led to their growth over the years. Because their kids are home schooled, they often vacation when most families are unable to. They took nearly a week holiday from Oklahoma to visit Texas and soak up the sights of Galveston and Kemah… the beach was practically vacant for our photo shoot!

As I drove back to Houston, I couldn’t help but feel completely inspired. This is love; this is what family is supposed to be. <3
